I have organised a concert to raise funds for Help for Heroes and Leeds Women's Aid, held at Morley Town Hall, involving many local artists and music groups. The event will be kindly opened by our Mayor of Morley cllr Wyn Kidger.

Performers include my old vocal coach & singer Tony Wayne from Morley, the beautiful voices of Paige Smith & Paul Metcalfe well known for their roles in Morley Amateur Operatic Society, Alice and Charlotte Best, Paris, Silcoates School, New Horizon's Church Band, Stagecoach Wakefield, Liam Boase, along with many others.
I have been fundraising since my teens for various charities and usually organise concerts as a way to raise money for chariti...es. Last year I performed with the Wrenthorpe Singers in aid of Parkinson's and those who know me know that over the years I have raised money for animal charities through to cancer charities.
This year I have chose two very important charities. Help For Heroes; I have previously performed in fundraising concerts for Help For Heroes including a Bond Movie Premier. This is a charity close to my heart, so many women and men put their lives on the line for us and I believe we should support and honour them. Leeds Women's Aid; I chose Leeds Women's aid as I believe that the issue of domestic abuse in the home needs to be stamped out and I will do all I can to support this. No one should live in fear or have to suffer in this way.
