It was a real privilege to visit Genix Healthcare's dental lab. Genix has dentists around the country including Morley and they also have award winning dental labs. They were voted best NHS lab last year and are aiming to be the biggest and best in the UK and Europe. Which is fantastic news for Yorkshire.
Yesterday I took some of our fantastic local businesses to meet our Chancellor George Osborne, these included Genix Healthcare, Cadeaux Gifts, and Emphasis Design. George made a speech about the long term economic future of our great country, why we must stick to the plan that saw us back in 2010 inheriting an economic situation when unemployment was high and our country was in the worst recession since WW2. We are now the fastest growing economy in the west and 1000 jobs each day have been created since 2010. Still more work to be done but heading in the right direction.
Today the Office for National Statistics has reported that household disposable income is now above the 2010 level. This mean the Conservatives Long Term Economic Plan is delivering real benefits for families and improving living standards for everyone. 
The Chancellor also spoke of his plans for Yorkshire, and how this government has invested in the north to rebalance our country's economy so it is not concentrated on the south. This speech comes as more than 100 British businesses come out and support our economic plan. It is businesses who create jobs and help secure the prosperity of our country.
