On Sunday 14th February, Andrea joined Leeds North East MP Fabian Hamilton on the sofa for the BBC's Sunday Politics.
The program covered fracking, clean air in Leeds and also touched on the recent dispute about junior doctors.
With parts of the Morley and Outwood constituency earmarked for as potential fracking sites, Andrea was asked whether she thought the Environment Agency was the right body to regulate fracking.
Andrea said:
"I think we need to possibly look at another body to regulate this going forward.
"It's something we need to monitor and keep an eye on because it's important."
On the subject of clean air in Leeds Andrea said:
"We need start with the Clean Air Zone, see how that goes and monitor it.
"It's something we have got to take seriously. Let's see with the new measures that we put in place and then look again."
Andrea has been outspoken in her support for Jeremy Hunt's decision to implement a new contract for junior doctors. She said:
"90% of what the BMA wanted has been achieved. It now comes down to Saturday working and Saturday pay.
"It's right to impose this now. It's been two years, and we stood on a manifesto for a seven day NHS."
